Who we are
TECO is an Italian family company established in 1988, built on a long-standing refrigeration tradition.
Our roots trace back to Alberto Turci Visini, who developed refrigeration systems for fish storage and freezing in the early 1950, and to the experience later gained by Ezio and Bruno Turci in the family’s early refrigeration activities.
Today TECO is recognized internationally, with products known worldwide for performance, reliability, and attention to efficiency.
Our Story
1950 - 1960
Origins
Ezio and Bruno Turci join the family business, already focused on cooling technologies. Later, they start their own company and produce DC refrigerators for boats and caravans, along with chillers and portable cooling units.

1970 - 1980
Innovation
In 1970, the team launches INDEL and keeps developing solutions for boats and caravans. INDEL also reaches major milestones, including an orbital refrigeration system for NASA’s Challenger and Columbia space shuttles.
1988
Vision
After selling INDEL to the Berloni Group, Ezio and Bruno Turci team up with Stelio Bubani and launch TECO. They focus on products for the commercial sector and aquariology from the very beginning.

TECO grows internationally by listening closely to market needs and responding with dependable, high-quality
2012
Growth
TECO moves into the retail sector after building a strong position in Ho.re.ca and filing its first patent for foodservice monoblock units already in 2001.

TECO designs and produces refrigeration units with one clear goal: delivering high levels of quality, both in the materials used and in the choice of components. Acquariology has been our speciality fron day one, and today we offer a complete range of professional chiller units, in four dedicated divisions: Aquariology, Ho.re.ca, Hydroponics, and Sport. Whatever the application, our approach remains the same: practical engineering, consistent performance, and long-term reliability.
